Dear Boston,
I really, really wish-- that you were New York. I appreciate small things about you, like how all the people care enough to put their garbage bags in the allies. I appreciate how you take pride in seafood (of all things, really) and that you're pale instead of white. Because, see, you really are. It rains more here, and you've always got that pallid feeling, like watercolours (think: blue and gray, blue and gray, blue and gray). As opposed to New York which just shines and shines, racing and white-yellow. You also don't have a heart the same way New York does. You overprice most things- such as; jelly beans, loafs of bread, shot glasses. You pretend that you're more educated just because you've got some rich white people schools. But you're cute, and quite frankly I think you've got potential. You really need to stop calling sprinkles "jimmies" though, it sounds stupid.
Keep on trying (don't stop Bilibin),
Alanna
I enjoy Boston, but mostly for Cambridge and linguistics hahaha.
ReplyDeleteThat was actually an incredibly accurate description of boston lol.
ReplyDeleteI do like it anyway though. I agree with you on the "potential" thing.
